Introduction
The testing center under Spivack (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a department that integrates testing and technical services. It has modern laboratories and professional technical teams, and can provide comprehensive testing services for experimental animal viruses, pathogens, parasites, and more. Currently, the testing center can detect pathogenic microorganisms such as Norovirus and Helicobacter, in addition to the projects required by the national standards for mice and rats. The testing methods involved include bacterial culture identification, biochemical identification, and PCR identification using both regular and fluorescent quantification. In addition to the ELISA detection method required by national standards for virus detection, we can also use PCR molecular biology method for detection. In addition to the microscopic examination method required by national standards for parasite detection, we can also identify at the genus level through PCR molecular biology method. Monitoring of microorganisms and parasites in experimental animals can not only prevent zoonotic diseases, but also ensure the accuracy and reliability of experimental results. Implementing quality control of microorganisms and parasites in experimental animals is an important task in the field of experimental animal science to make normative evaluations of the quality of experimental animals.
II. Detection Basis
The current testing center can perform testing on items according to national standards, group standards, and local standards. In addition, the center also includes its own research and development methods for PCR identification, such as using PCR methods for species identification of flagellates and worms.
III. Specific Implementation Examples
The microbiological testing team of the testing center not only conducts regular testing on experimental animal microbiology, parasites, and other items in this facility, but also provides satisfactory testing services as a third-party testing organization for multiple experimental animals, including the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Fuxing Hospital, and Beijing Shenzhou Cell Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
IV. Testing Items
National standard testing items for rats
Testing items required by the Mouse National Standard
Other bacterial testing items (such as E. coli, Helicobacter pylori, and Enterobacter cloacae)
Other viral testing items (such as Norovirus)
